Color Vibration in Photography
These series of photographs include an exploration into flat color in the natural world and how color vibration comes from this. Therefore, what you are seeing in these photographs is the convergence of where photography and graphic design meet.
Color Gels in Studio Photography
This project includes experimenting with color gels in an indoor lighting studio. Professional-grade studio photographs, taken with a Canon R5 DSLR camera and editing them in Adobe Lightroom was employed. In each photograph, the colored light, in addition to the crisp, clean lines in model’s clothes, creates a photograph that is very two-dimensional and graphic-esque. Again, we see the convergence between photography and graphic design here.
Fleeting Moments
This project is an exploration on the fleeting moments of childhood. As you begin life, you are full of optimism and joy. Each balloon represents this. As you grow older, your childhood slowly fades away, one balloon at a time, as your adult life begins to focus in. And just like that, before you know it, that joyous childhood you once loved is gone, leaving you with one lonely balloon. Taken on a Canon 35mm SLR camera.
Color Gradients in Photography
These photographs are part of an investigation into finding color gradients in the natural world. In addition to this, trying to motivate people to get out and see the world is another goal of this project. And hopefully showing the beauty of the natural sky can help accomplish this.
